Terms of Use
Last updated 23 October 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Truvo website at truvo.site and the Truvo API at api.truvo.site (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Truvo, a project operated by an individual (“Truvo”, “we”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
Truvo is an information service about tokenised assets on Robinhood Chain. It collects public information from official documentation, the issuer’s published asset registry and the blockchain, and presents it with its sources, timestamps and a status describing how well each piece of information is supported.
2. No affiliation
Truvo is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Robinhood or any issuer of the assets it describes. Names and trademarks of third parties belong to their owners and are used only to identify the assets and sources referred to.
3. Accuracy and statuses
We work to make the information accurate and to show where it comes from, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Sources can be wrong, change, or be unavailable; data can be delayed or incomplete.
Statuses such as “verified”, “stale”, “conflicting”, “unknown” and “unverified” have the specific meanings set out on the methodology page. They describe the evidence behind information, not the quality, legality, value, liquidity or safety of any asset. Always check the original sources before relying on any information, and make your own decisions.
4. Using the API
- The API is free to use within its rate limits (currently 60 requests per minute without a key, 600 with a key). We may change limits at any time.
- API keys are personal to the holder. Keep them secret; we may revoke a key that is shared, leaked or misused.
- There is no service-level agreement. The Service may be changed, suspended or discontinued at any time.
- When you show Truvo data to others, keep its status labels and do not present information as verified when its status says otherwise. Attribution (“Data: Truvo”, with a link) is appreciated.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- exceed or try to get around rate limits or access controls, or use the operator endpoints without authorisation;
- interfere with or overload the Service, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- use the Service for anything unlawful, including fraud, market manipulation, or misleading others about an asset;
- misrepresent Truvo’s data, statuses or your relationship with Truvo.
We may restrict or block access that breaks these rules.
6. Content and third-party sources
The Service’s software, design and original text belong to Truvo. Information from third parties (for example Robinhood’s documentation and asset registry) remains theirs; Truvo summarises and links to it rather than republishing it. Links to third-party sites are provided for reference; we are not responsible for their content.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Truvo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, funds, data or opportunity, arising from your use of or reliance on the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law and contact
